| Bowman’s B & B is only a three minute walk from the beach - four or five if you dawdle. It is a pleasant walk and you pass a wide variety of housing which gives a good indication of island architecture; from the well cared for weekenders to the more modern warehouse units and glass fronted permanent dwellings. Dafydd Street is L-shaped and a track at the end of the street leads down to the beach. Or, you can walk along Appleby Avenue to a barbeque area and wooden steps to the beach. |
