Dafydd Street is a quiet area but you are only a few minutes drive to the restaurants and shopping in Cowes. For those wishing to escape the bustle of Cowes, there is “The Anchorage” close by in Red Rocks, which sells grocery items, liquor, and take-away food. For the more active, a pleasant walk along the beach to Cowes will take you about 40 to 45 minutes. If you can’t face walking back, there are many cabs that can whisk you home. |
